My collection is pretty much nothing but not including a bad batch of Hip-Hop records I got:

I have a friend who only buys used vinyl. He uses it for beats, though. Sometimes fucking thrift stores are a gold mine. Found Use Your Illusion II at a goddamn thrift store. Met a dude in that same afternoon who told me he sometimes walks out with a nice stack.

I'm so fucking particular about everything, though, that I go well out of my way to find records. I've lurked endless sites to find specific shit, only to find it turning up on amazon months later. Like Crack the Skye. It was a fucking mission to find Crack the Skye. Finally did for $26 with shipping. Month or so ago, Amazon threw it up for $18 bucks.

I have a similar dilemma with DVDs. I'll get in the mood to see something, not find it anywhere, hunt it down in person at a bunch of stores because I want to watch it that night, end up buying it either used or at a significantly higher price, then find it some time later sitting in a $5 bin

It takes a lot for me to buy a dvd now a days. Will only go for shit that like I really want.
