Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick announced that $89.8 million of the company’s second quarter FY15 revenue came from digital sales. More than 60 percent of that was due to recurrent items, including in-game currency and DLC.

Zelnick says that Grand Theft Auto Online is still the biggest contributor to digital revenue for the company, and has been since the game’s launch last year. Virtual currency purchases in NBA 2K14 are up 135 percent year-over-year. In total, DLC and in-game purchases are up 45 percent year-over-year.

Borderlands 2 DLC, NBA 2K Online (available in China), and WWE SuperCard also represent big contributions to the digital portfolio. The free-to-play WWE card battler has been installed 3.5 million times and is the company’s most successful free-to-play, mobile title.
