- EA Access, the subscription service by Electronic Arts, is officially out of beta and now available publicly on Xbox One.
Electronic Arts revealed that the subscription service should be available for all Xbox One owners by the end of the day on the company's website. EA Access has been in beta for a couple of weeks, after being announced at the end of last month. The service costs $5 USD/£4 a month (or $30 a year) and features an initial line-up of Battlefield 4, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, and Peggle 2. Electronic Arts promises that more titles will be added to EA Access over time, with no plans to remove games in the future. Additionally, EA COO Peter Moore broke down the finer details of EA Access last week.
EA Access is exclusive to Xbox One, with Sony passing on the subscription service for PlayStation 4 because the company didn't believe it was a "good value." Along with being able to play games from The Vault, EA Access includes 10-percent discounts on all EA digital content as well as early game trials. Source | |
