Activision could be in a legal issue due to Black Ops 2?

Apparently they promised off games in the "modern day (post-Vietnam), near future, or distant future.”" setting to Infinity Ward and completely ignored the fact Black Ops 2 is doing just that taking place in "2025".

Update: Activision has responded by saying "There is no basis for the plaintiffs in the Infinity Ward suit to block the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II.”

I'll be sad if they push back the release of Black Ops 2 over some b.s. over conflicting game topics. Game takes place well after the fact of any of the MW games.

I doubt any of the parties involved would allow it to get pushed back. There's still quite awhile for any potential dispute to be settled
