- If you can't wait to start playing your beloved games in Ultra HD, then you're in luck. Engadget reports that Taiwanese hardware manufacturer ASUS has debuted a professional-grade, 31.5" 4K monitor, teasing products to come at next week's Computex 2013.
In addition to the fact that the monitor features 4 times the resolution of a standard HD display, the 31.5-inch LED-backlit display features 10-bit RGB that can produce a billion colors on the screen. The monitor's Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) panels have a 3840 x 2160 resolution, a slick 140 PPI and a 16:9 aspect ratio — making all of your games look pretty pretty nice. There's also built-in speakers and a full-swivel stand to keep the system as tidy and configurable as possible.
ASUS is expected to show off the monitor, along with a 39-inch version, next week. There's no word on pricing, but both could be out as early as next month. Source | |
