- Diablo 3 is officially available from today, following launch events and servers being switched on late last night - but many gamers have been unable to play the action RPG, as Blizzard's servers returned error messages due to the volume of users attempting to authenticate the game.
'Error 37' presents itself in-game when "your connection [to the Diablo III servers] doesn’t succeed in 40 seconds."
Blizzard stress-tested Diablo 3's servers as recently as late April, but it seems the developer couldn't prepare for the overwhelming traffic as gamers attempted to access the game - which requires an internet connection whether playing in single-player or with friends.
"Due to high concurrency the login servers are currently at full capacity," Blizzard said in a statement. "This may cause delays in the login process, account pages and web services. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience while this is being resolved."
Blizzard had previously warned of launch-day delays to the logging-in process. Source | |

| Sucks for those guys. It's like buying a Fallout game on launch. They're always buggy as all hell the first weeks weeks/months. At least till the patch comes out. Except here, the Blizzard servers weren't ready for the flow of traffic. | |

| If they didn't make the single player game on it as well they wouldn't have had the problem but nonetheless | |
