Hostage Negotiation, loosely scheduled for release "later this fall", was initially due in the North American summer. By way of apology, Rockstar is gifting Max Payne 3 multiplayers with an all-new chrome weapon bonus, redeemable to all Social Club members free of charge on release.

Hostage Negotiation will be broken down into two distinct Max Payne 3 flavors.The Club Moderno and Estádio Do Galatians maps will deliver "intense nightclub and stadium shootouts," while the O Palácio Strip Club and Favela Heights maps introduce new favela territories from Max's "descent into the gang-infested neighborhoods of the city."
